Frequently asked questions.

  • What do I need to know about having a session in my own home?

I like to allow an hour and a half for these sessions. That allows time for me to set up and clean up, gives us time to go over your forms together, set some intentions for our session, and discuss your experience afterwards if that’s something you want to do. We need space for you to lie down, ideally on a mat on the floor, but if that isn’t possible or practical a bed is fine. I need there to be at least a foot of clear space all the way around you (preferably more), so I can surround you with singing bowls. Your home will also get a bit of energy clearing as an added benefit of your sound session!

  • What do I need to bring to a group session?

Bring a yoga mat, or camping pad, a blanket, a pillow, and anything else that would make you comfortable during the session. I recommend an eye pillow to block out light, but it’s not essential. Wear comfortable clothing.

  • What should I expect at a private session?

Before our initial session I ask you to fill out a form with details of your health history and current concerns, which will help me tailor your session to your individual needs. Before any subsequent sessions we will also have a chat about how you’re doing and what you would like to focus on in our session together. I will place the Tibetan bowls around you so you will be completely enveloped in sound and vibration. I will start with a guided meditation, followed by approximately 45 minutes of sound treatment using Tibetan bowls, drum, and voice.

  • Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes! Your health is important! If you think my services would benefit you, but my prices are currently out of reach please don’t hesitate to reach out. I might be able to offer a discount, or a trade of services.

  • What areas do you practice in?

I live in the mountains near Tassajara and practice in Carmel Valley, Carmel, Pacific Grove and Monterey. If you live outside those areas please feel free to contact me with your location and we can discuss a small additional fee depending on how far you are.

  • Do you do online sessions?

I don’t currently offer online sessions, but I hope to in the near future. There are some differences in the online and in person experiences, but both are great.

  • What if I don’t have space in my home?

I don’t currently have my own studio space, so if you don’t have a space we can work in please sign up for my mailing list to receive updates about future in person or online options.
